These terms govern your use of the Epiqara website and apps (operated by Epiqara LLC). By using them you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use them.

What this covers

These terms cover this website and, together with the terms below, your use of our apps. Our iOS apps are licensed, not sold, and are distributed through the Apple App Store under Apple's standard licensed-application terms, together with any additional terms or disclosures shown in each app. Apple's terms govern the app license itself; Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them.

Who can use Epiqara

Epiqara is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, please use Epiqara only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using our website and apps, you confirm you can form a binding agreement and will follow these terms and all applicable laws.

Acceptable use

Use the website and apps for personal, lawful purposes. Please don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer them, scrape the site abusively, misuse the AI features, or use Epiqara to break the law or infringe others' rights.

Our apps and AI features

Several apps offer optional AI features. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and its output is not professional advice — not medical, health, legal, financial, safety, or similar advice. For example, Aquavail's chemistry suggestions, Loggnit's health and calorie estimates, Founding Minds' civic information, and Qaravo's translations are starting points, not guarantees. Use your own judgment, verify anything important, and consult a qualified professional before relying on AI output for any decision that matters. You are responsible for how you use it.

Purchases

Some apps offer paid features. Any purchase — including one-time purchases and any subscriptions — is sold and billed by Apple, not by us. Subscriptions renew automatically under Apple's terms until you cancel, and you manage or cancel them in your device's Settings under your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple. We never see or process your payment details.

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them to improve Epiqara without any obligation or payment to you. Please don't send us anything confidential or anything you're not free to share.

Intellectual property

The Epiqara name, logo, app names, site design, and content are owned by Epiqara LLC. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners. Content you create with the apps stays yours — we don't claim ownership of it.

Third-party links

The website links to third-party destinations such as the Apple App Store, which we don't control and aren't responsible for.

“As is”

The website, the apps, and their content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. App names, features, availability, and pricing can change at any time, and information here may not always be current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epiqara LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the website or apps. You use them at your own risk.

Termination

We may suspend or limit access to the website or its features if you misuse them or to protect the Services. You can stop using Epiqara, or delete an app, at any time.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms as Epiqara evolves; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Montana.
