Backrooms Survival
A survival game set in the Backrooms exactly as the wiki documents them. Every level, entity, and object comes from the canon, every descent is generated fresh, and there is no way out. There is only how far down.
Coming soon to the App Store
Thirst is the only timer, and it never stops. Bottles are scarce, part-full ones may not be water, and every level has its own economy. Read what is written on the walls, file what you learn at a M.E.G. post, trade it for supplies, and decide whether you can afford the way down.
Sound is how you are found. Running is fast and loud, sneaking is slow and silent, and everything hunting you is listening. Facelings, Smilers, Hounds, Dullers, Deathmoths, and the rest behave the way the articles say they behave. The M.E.G. files in the archive tell you what stops each one.
Built for one hand in a dark room: thumb to look, thumb to walk, tap to act. Works offline. No account, no ads, nothing to buy inside. The same game is free to play in a browser at nooutlet.app.

FAQ
What is No Outlet?+
A survival game set in the Backrooms, the internet fiction about an endless maze of empty rooms you fall into by noclipping out of reality. Levels, entities, and objects are adapted from the community wiki, so what you meet behaves the way the articles describe it. The game is an original work by Epiqara LLC and is not affiliated with the wiki or any other Backrooms game.
Is there a way out?+
No. There is only how far down. A run ends when thirst or an entity ends it, and the score board ranks how far you got and what you learned on the way.
How does thirst work?+
Thirst is the only timer in the game, and it never stops. Bottles are scarce, part-full ones may not be water, and each level has its own supply. Going deeper costs what it took to get there, so the decision to take the way down is the whole game.
How do the entities find you?+
By sound. Running is fast and loud, sneaking is slow and silent, and a flashlight draws the things that should not be drawn. Each entity has its own habits, and the M.E.G. files in the archive tell you what stops each one once you have met it.
What is a M.E.G. post?+
The Major Explorer Group is the wiki's in-fiction organization of survivors. Its posts appear inside levels; file what you have learned there and trade it for supplies.
Is it scary? What age is it for?+
It is a horror game and it is meant to frighten. There is no blood, gore, or weapons; the fear comes from sound, darkness, and what is hunting you. Rated 13+ on the App Store.
Does it need an internet connection?+
No. The game runs fully offline. The only network use is the optional bug report on the pause screen, which sends nothing until you tap Send.
Why is the iOS app paid when the web version is free?+
The web version at nooutlet.app stays free. The app is the same game built for a phone, with touch controls, screen wake, and no browser chrome, for a single one-time price with nothing to buy inside.
Where does the Backrooms content come from?+
Level, entity, and object text is adapted from the Backrooms Wiki under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license and shared alike. Audio is CC0, and every recording is credited on the Credits page inside the game.
